The Eritrean Youth Organization of Atlanta is a non-profit organization that was established in May 10, 1998. The purpose of this organization is to uplift and consolidate scattered youth initiatives into a coherent group movement. Many of the Eritrean youths are quickly losing their Eritrean culture, history, and norms. We now have a forum where we can discuss and resolve our problems. But the organization is much more than that. We sponsor cultural shows, educational programs, and fundraising activities. We now stand together to ensure that Eritrean youths understand the significance of their culture and past. We hope, through this website, that other Eritreans in Diaspora may see the significance of youth groups and start their own. We also hope to collaborate with Ethiopian, Somalian, Sudanese, and Djiboutian youth groups, so that we may initiate everlasting peace in our region.
